Lauren Ryan-Holt recently graduated from McCallum High School in the Austin ISD. While participating in choir throughout her schooling, she states that “singing has always been a form of community to me.” Next year, Lauren will attend Bard College in upstate New York, majoring in classical voice at their Conservatory of Music. Eventually, Lauren would like to enter the field of Music Education in order to “bring the feeling of sharing music you care about with your community so that young kids can become involved in the music culture where they live.”
