Inspired by the varied patchwork of women’s lives and experiences in our country, this concert blends traditional folk songs, contemporary songs about spirit and struggle, with pieces drawn from the writings of literary and historical figures Sara Teasdale, Susan B. Anthony, Abigail Adams, and Louisa May Alcott among others.
